Mounted and Framed Images for sale

Huxley Imaging is all about helping you find framed images to suit you. So, as well as being able to frame your artwork, source and frame pieces from other galleries and companies, we also offer a range of original photography, beautifully mounted and framed.

All photographs have been shot by me, the company owner, Richard Buttle. My main photographic interest is in the natural environment, usually with a twist that creates a sense of drama or emphasises light and colour to create clear, bright images. I particularly like massive skies, strange horizons and interesting shapes within the landscape.  For close up work, I tend to gravitate towards shapes and structures of plants, reflections and anything that will sit still long enough!

MOUNTED FOR SALE

All of the photographs featured on the site are available as a mounted package. The mount style for individual pieces has been designed to complement the theme and style of work you have chosen. Pictures are mounted using either triple or double mounts, ready for framing, but are not in standard sizes so would require framing professionally. The framing style for each image is described in the gallery. The complete range of framing styles is illustrated below.

FRAMED FOR SALE

All of the photographs featured on the site are available as a framed package. The moulding used and mount type for individual pieces have been designed to complement the theme and style of photograph you have chosen.  

The photographs are first mounted using either double or triple mounts, which create depth to the final piece. These are then framed using mouldings, usually hardwood (ash/oak), which have first been coloured and then finished with either a wax or gilt cream. Other frames have been created using a deep moulding with a curved, mottled silver or gold finish. In all cases, the framed pieces are clearly well-made and form substantial pieces of artwork.
