This is the simplest style of framing. It can also be the most economic form, apart from buying pre-made frames. It is particularly useful where you want to show smaller, formal pieces of work. These would typically be items such as certificates; diplomas; some standard size photographs and prints.
Although this is the cheapest style of framing the quality of workmanship remains the same.
The framed package would usually consist of a single mount, a frame made using a moulding from our standard range. It would be finished with a backboard which is taped in and strung ready for hanging.
As an illustration of price, a piece framed in this style (image size 297mm x 220mm ie A 4), would cost in the region of £35.00. The final work ready for hanging would measure 447mm x 370 mm (17.5” x 14.5”).
